*From the evening of Monday 20 May to Thursday 23 May, Queen Maxima is making a four-day visit to the Republic of the Philippines in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA). The Queen’s visit is focusing on promoting financial inclusion and financial health.* *The programme includes two field visits on Tuesday. On the first day of her visit, Queen Maxima visited an island, where she spoke with members of a fishing community about the positive effects of the digital financial services offered by CARD RBI on their income and financial health. In a city on the mainland, the Queen Maxima also visited a small neighborhood shop, known as a ‘sari-sari store’.*
