1. Looks interesting but they are just expecting to be able to build a 1 MW pilot project for 2026. 2 years is a long time if solar PV and batteries keep accelerating. But let’s hope they manage to build at a 13 USD/MWh cost.

2. Help me understand raising $12m when bill gates pisses $12m before breakfast. If bill gates isn’t putting more in, I’m out.

3. JFC, if Gates would have just put the billions he’s thrown away on Pie in the Sky energy schemes into building boring wind and solar plants, we’d have a lot more to show for it. But of course, gates thinks he is smarter than the average bear and come up with a techno fix nobody’s ever thought of before to outsmart the lower beings laboring to design and build wind and solar plants.
