Ange Postecoglou is desperate to strengthen his Tottenham squad this summer.

Spurs finished fifth during his first season in charge, missing out on the Champions League by just two points.

Ahead of the transfer window re-opening, ESPN report that Postecoglou has asked for three new signings from the club.

Spurs made nine additions last summer before recruiting Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner in January.

  1. No kidding. We had four children on the bench for our last game because we are, again, decimated by injuries.

  2. Ange, Ange

When will those clouds all disappear?
    Ange, Ange

Where will it lead us from here?
With no lovin’ in our souls
And no money in our coats
    You can’t say we’re satisfied

    Ange, Ange
You can’t say we never tried

  3. How come I never see  anyone talking about how badly Spurs need CB cover. Their defense went to shit every time VdV got injured.

  4. Biggest needs have got to be Striker & getting a backup RB/LB for Udogie & Porro. Midfield is also a bit of a question right now, the only person that I’m confident will start next year is Sarr, outside of him midfield is a bit of a question mark.

  5. Not liking the list of players we’ve been linked with so far. Hudson-Odoi, Gallagher, and Chalobah…

  6. Toney is a good option when you want to play route 1 & win the second balls to start attacks. Better than Richarlison too.

  7. you should go for Eze, he’d be a great addition

  8. Better backups for Udogie and Maddison would already be quite helpful, specially if the fullback can cover both sides

  9. Thats the just the way it is these days. If you want to win you have to spend. However, spending without a plan gets you a team like Chelsea and Man U. So you can’t just spend anymore and buy the best available players….you need to buy the best players that suit the need that your squad has.

  10. I mean, they’re not going to survive the Thursday-Sunday turnaround with Europa League. The squad was rail thin to begin with.

You can pretty much blame squad building with Mourinho and Conte in charge.

  11. Three isn’t even asking for much to be honest. Music to Levy’s ears.

  12. In fiarness to the man hes proven that when he has resources to work with, he can get results, just a shame the injury train they ran into.

If they had a more fleshed out squad they coulda went for top4.
