Sadly the Abrams were widely reported to have been pulled from the front in [April ](https://apnews.com/article/ukraine-russia-war-abrams-tanks-19d71475d427875653a2130063a8fb7a)due to Russian drone threats.
EDIT: Guess that’s what I get for believing the AP. Abrams haven’t gone [anywhere](https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/04/27/7453276/).
I am sad that Ukrainian blood will ultimately have to be shed in these tanks, but it is so cool to see what they do in an environment and (predominantly) against the exact opponents for which they were designed.
They are using bradley’s. They carry soldiers, they are faster, better vision, not as conspicious, and they can take out a T80 with their TOW missiles. They have lost 80 Bradley’s, which is an indicator of how much they are using them.
