   These European countries currently recognize the Palestinian State:

   Bulgaria

   Poland

   Czech Republic

   Romania

   Slovakia

   Hungary

   Greece

   Sweden

   What does Belgium do?

   Belgium does not yet recognize the Palestinian State. There are no concrete plans yet, but they will be discussed today in the core cabinet. Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter (Green) wants our country to follow the example of Norway, Spain and Ireland.

   How can you recognize a state when they haven’t had a government in a long time ?

   The last parliamentery elections were held in 2006, the last presidential in 2005 and the entire cabinet which had been running since 2006 has resigned in february this year.
