Mexico City, population 22 million, might hit “Day zero” meaning no freshwater at all sometime this summer, 2024. Without commenting on what US immigration policy should be, a day zero event in Mexico City will obviously make the southern border and immigration policy in the United States a crisis-level issue and major election issue, even without Fox News Trump and the republicans trying to turn it into one
