More info: Hansi Flick has a very proven physical training coach: this is Holger Broich. Those who worked with him say that the workouts are intense and rigorous. If Flick signs a contract with Barcelona, he will join him (his contract with Bayern Munich is valid until June 30, 2024). [@sagonzalezbueno]
Best choice IMO.
Hoping no more fuck ups
Let’s be realistic, we need a change, Flick is the best choice of what we have for now. Can’t be worst than another season with Xavi, or potentially Marquez.
People are in for a surprise, this guy is not going to improve Barca.
Spanish club and German Coach meet in British capital… sounds about right
I’m totally behind this choice, I believe a change will help us move forward
Finally!!!
Our players have been too soft…we need that energy…
Davies was unplayable under Flick. He destroyed Barca and Chelsea. We need Hansi Flick to bring that out in Balde.
“By working together, they can fly 70 per cent more!” – Flick to his German squad
at this point, whether you like him or not, Xavi is a lame duck coach. He will continue to be under the spotlight and his situation will be distracting to the team. I’m not qualified to speak about other coaches, but this team needs to move on now
I‘ll be happy if we move on from Xsvi (even though I‘m not convinced by flick either) but this whole saga is so incredibly disrespectful towards him and I really hate it
People that want to sack Xavi for Flick are plain stupid.
Won the league less than a year ago and is working with kids and with zero transfer budget. Was denied a Busquets replacement and has to battle against a money printing Madrid and “suspicious” refereeing decisions. Still finished second and would most likely be in a Champions League final now, if it weren’t for shocking individual mistakes from Araujo and Cancelo.
What more would Flick or any other candidate have accomplished in these circumstances?I just don’t get all these emotionally unstable people wanting change every day.
What a shit show. Negotiating with another coach while Xavi still doesn’t know if he’ll stay or not. If reports are to be believed, Laporta has also made this decision ignoring Deco’s recommendation. Wouldn’t surprise me if Laporta is voted out this summer.
The disrespect to not meet with Xavi first. This club has always disappointed me with how we treat our legends smh
Flick will not last a season with Barca, mark my words. He’s not the manager everyone thinks he is.
