Russia’s ‘time-honoured strategy’ of ‘using as many humans as possible’

Russia is applying its “time-honoured strategy” of “using as many humans as possible” in its invasion of Ukraine, says ANU Strategic and Defence Studies Centre’s Associate Professor Matthew Sussex.

Mr Sussex said this has seen Russia make “some gains” against Ukrainian forces.

“Ukraine has always had the twin problem of having fewer people to call on – but also being reliant on Western suppliers, ammunition, anti-aircraft missiles,” he told Sky News Australia.

  1. The headline was obviously written by someone who knows exactly how Stalin maintained his hold and authority over Russians. Putin has obviously learnt from history…

  2. Finally, someone has pointed out the obvious: Ukraine is feeding off the West's misguided empathy and overemotions. HaHaHa.

  3. Russia’s ‘time-honoured strategy’ of ‘using as many humans as possible’….Every independent non MSM channel does not refer to this, Nuclear Drills exercise yes, they also mention that Russia has not committed its forces fully throughout the last two years.

  4. Hahahaha. Russia's nukes are strapped to hypersonic missiles. The US wouldn't be able to stop them. (Unfortunately)

  5. This guy knows very little of Russian tactics. They used wave assaults in the early portions of wwii because they simply didn’t have the command and control of a modern army (at the time) due to stalins purges. As the war progressed they became better in combined units tactics and ceased using wave attacks.

  6. This misinformation about Russia human waves or high casualties should stop cause the nation counting them has proven unreliable many times when comes to numbers Ukraine have ever reason to manipulate the information for its benefits

  7. I feel bad for the people in Ukraine being used by the globalist construct. Many Ukrainians are forced ( conscribed) into the military only to die or surrender.

  8. Putin has repeatedly told you that there is not a war taking place in Ukraine, but only a military operation. But you considered yourself smarter than everyone else and now you have to manipulate data to hide your old mistakes.
