    Why should that matter? We lock up thousands of people who can’t afford paid representation every year. We stick them with overworked public defenders.

    I see no reason why these individuals deserve any better.

27. Like many, many Trumpers who have misbehaved on Trump’s behalf, they will pay for their crimes. So many of Trump’s loyalists have lost their careers, freedom, and/or financial security. And does Trump give a shit about them? Nope.
