NATO ally responds to Russia’s move to ‘adjust’ Baltic Sea border

1. Testing NATO alliance. Nothing will happen. Russia is at a massive military disadvantage there, and they know that.

2. Why would it be suicidal? The bastards are killing many innocent Ukrainians and getting away with it – I am sure that if the allies had reacted with a proper show of force the Ukraine conflict would have ended in a few hours – the Russians don’t have the means to wage war against the west

10. If you think Russia’s land forces are a joke, their navy can’t even stand up to the smaller nations in Europe. The US doesn’t even have to send a full battle group to reinforce NATO claims in that water. Hell they could probably just use the nearby air bases to sink anything putler tries to send. It would literally be a target practice exercise.

    Realistically only China could provide the US a real fight on water anymore.

11. These are probing attacks, horizontal escalation to check the resolve of the west. A new component of many to come. Same with the Russian subs lurking around key undersea cables. 

    We in Europe think Russia will stop in Donbass, we are wrong.
