  1. Really annoys me when people who voted Brexit “because they wanted change” will scoff at the idea of changing a government. Hopefully we get a fresh start and a new idea soon, it’s been like this for far too long.

  2. We need that meme with the two arms and hands grasped. Actual conservatives/ leftists – getting rid of the Tories.

  3. Russian and Chinese bots are already out in force in this thread, doomposting about Labour.

    Let the games begin.

  4. If you are King Charles, you must dissolve parliament. Family tradition.

  5. I hope they lose so many seats they can’t even be the opposition

  6. Great so we have a date to vote the tories out. Nice

  7. So fucking fired up to vote this corrupt piece of garbage out of office.

  8. REMEMBER TO ACTUALLY VOTE!
No matter who for, no matter how insignificant you think you decide to vote for it, no matter what you think the end result will be. Just vote, get informed on policies and manifestos and vote

  9. Get it over and done with before the summer holidays and then he can go away somewhere nice with the family – makes sense

  10. Whoever was blasting out “things can only get better” the whole way through his speech, legend.

  11. Anyone anywhere they lib Dems or green have any chance of winning they must get the vote over labour. Labour is winning by a huge amount either way so let’s try and actually get conservatives to third place and make them largely irrelevant. It might actually get us out of just flipping between the same 2 parties every couple of elections, because if Lib Dems becomes second and become there official opposition then they’ll be in the news constantly whichll boost them for next time to potentially come first.

If they do come first and change the voting system then it’ll stop any 1 party from being able to pass stuff themselves. It might make them cooperate more and make politics less messy, people will more freely switch parties they vote for because suddenly their vote for a smaller party like greens would actually be worth something.

Sure it’ll give the extreme right some seats too but at the expense of the normal right. Same for left wing. I think someee stuff will stop being seen as left and right too since I’m sure there’s a few things the more left and right wing parties agree on which the more central politicians and parties don’t.

Not gonna get another chance any time soon to have another party get second place imo. At least not an very right wing one. So I’ll be using the rare opportunity to vote in a way that’s more likely to let a 3rd party win.

  12. Rishi getting pissed on with rain with Things Can Only Get Better blaring in the background, absolutely perfect

  13. Quite the difference between Sunak’s speech and Starmers.

Sunak’s was effectively “You can’t blame me for all the terrible outcomes of the Conservative government, I gave all you dossers money so I want a return on my investment. Look, the world is terrifying and getting worse every second so vote for me.”

Starmer’s was “It doesn’t have to be this shit and depressing living in the UK.”

  14. Remember, a Labour alternative is better than the stranglehold the Tories has on the country.

  15. A coalition government, whether led by Labour or any other party to the left of the Tories, would be the best outcome for Britain.

    #**VOTE TACTICALLY.**

  16. All getting too real for Sunak, he wants out before he can be linked to war crimes or forced to actually make a difficult decision.

  17. Let’s play election bingo what happens first the tories usee trans people as a corner stone of there campaign or russia does something that pulls everyone attention andd labour has a scandel somehow gain 5 points

  18. Good! Finally going to get rid of this shower of incompetents and scammers.

  19. That was a rather good speech from Starmer to be fair. I’ve never been a huge fan of him, no charisma or character about him at all.
But then I think, that perhaps that may be a good thing, politics SHOULD be boring, it SHOULD be run of the mill, honest, just getting-on-with-it; not the celebrity’esque, corruption & culture wars bullshit we have today.

  20. “By the time that it was over… their were no more tories left”

  21. Labour should bring back HS2 in full anyway, and ensure the Euston station has the original intended number of platforms so that costly expansions don’t need to be made once its built.

  22. I wish Paul Mullen had been selected for England so he could wear his special boots!

  23. Please please please give whoever wins at least half the time the tories have been in power to try and salvage things. Don’t just give them a couple years and throw them under the bus

  24. Sunak doing thjs before a long weekend was kinda smart he gets 5 days of peace before he’ll starts on tuesday

  25. What happened to the media room they spunked millions of pounds of our money on? No let’s just stand in the rain.

  26. Standing in the rain ruining a suit that was a lot of people’s salary annually, telling them things can only get better from the people who’ve been in charge for years and had every chance, Peak Tory.

  27. I think we are fucked. Like proper fucked.

Vote labour because this shit can’t continue

  28. Sunak talking about the joy of small kindnesses, meanwhile he wants disabled people to be left bankrupt and suffering.

The quicker these absolute fucking cunts are out of power the better.

  29. Thank fuck, finally!

Let’s get these money grabbing corrupt twats out of office.

July 4th is now officially fuck the Tories day.

  30. Could they not find him an umbrella? He was absolutely soaking wet. What the hell
