  1. Cannon absolutely is a stain on the judiciary, as is Alito, Thomas, Kacsmaryk, and a whole host of right-wing judges appointed by republican presidents. Republicans must never again be in a position to appoint federal judges. They are corrupt to the core.

  4. For the Meidas Mighty and Legal AFerz, this is a “No duh!!!” type thing. Had Canon not exercised Equitable Jurisdiction we would likely have a criminal conviction already.

  5. It doesn’t matter unless something is done about it. All of the Jack Smith is playing 3D chess folks are looking as bad as the Garland defenders. Supposedly he was just giving her the rope to get herself recused but at this point the damage is done.

  8. It’s the most straightforward case against him and is also the most important one, as it shows his lack of understanding on handling classified information. If I took home *one* classified document and tried to conceal it when asked to return it, I would be sitting in a cell until my trial and I’d never hold a security clearance again. Here we are getting ready to let this man run for office *again*, even knowing he concealed classified documents, ordered staff to move the documents, delete footage of the documents being moved and to hide movements of the documents from view of cameras…

  9. She needs to be removed for failing to uphold the law. She and the GQP is wholly and totally incapable of governing. Completely detached from reality. Taken by insane conspiracy theories and fascist undercurrents; the modern Republican Party has boiled down to extremist white Christian nationalism with a flair for terrorism.

  31. I hope it comes out that some one from the trump camp, or a gop judge, mentor, reached out to her and told her to delay, delay, delay, with maybe suggestions on how to do it. Then she could be impeached and tried for obstructing justice.
