Hey all. I received this lottery "Tombola" in my mailbox 3 times. On each one I won 100 Euros, I just need to them them the form completed back.

But if you see the area marked in green, it says that you also agree to pay a monthly fee of 10 + 3,45 euros for a subscription of this lottery.

For how long does this subscription will apply? Can I redeem the price and then just deregister?

Is this even legal? I am quite mad about this if is a scam

  1. It isn’t a scam but you also have not won the money. Look what the two ** mean in the fine print.

  2. These things are a trick, they’re trying to get you to subscribe to something or to collect data, and if you read all the small print you haven’t actually won. Do not give them any bank info or sign up for anything! I once fell for a similar one and called the number and realized it was a trick when they wanted my bank info to *pay* for it lol. You can also google the company name and look on Trust Pilot or other sites to read people’s experiences with these companies. They’re negative like 90% of the time.

  3. if i only had one cent for each of these mailings in my postbox

i would have only two cents

and this amount just shows how absurdly fake these mailings are

  4. You didn’t win anything. Read the fine print. You probably got a discount voucher

It’s not a scam per se. It’s a subscription-based lottery, you enter a contract to buy a specified amount of lottery tickets weekly for a year or so. It’s very misleading advertising, to be sure

  5. Try installing uBlock Origin Browser Extension to get rid of those annoying pop-up-adseeeh wait a minute
