The amount of canvassers that ignore this sign is infuriating

It's been a pretty decent filter of the candidates for the upcoming election. So far only the Soc Dem and an independent candidate have respected the sign.
Try out the rule ‘whoever wakes the baby, looks after them’.
Tbh the sign is “cute” but if a postman/postperson has got work to do probably wouldn’t even register it as something that needs paying attention to. It blends in with the rest of the decorations
We’ve got a ” No Political Canvassers” sign.
It’s constantly ignored, and when you challenge them some say they didn’t notice it and some straight up say it’s their policy to ignore signs like that. As one FG canvaser said “Someone might have put it on your door as a joke.”
have a dirty nappy handy, say sorry can you hold this while i read your leaflet
Add a note that if you are running in the election and you knock on the door you will be voting for someone else.
Bring the in and make them sing to the baby to get them to sleep again while you make a cuppa
What do they say when you read the riot act to them?
I think you’ll need something more black text on a white background with red somewhere.
Its not hard to read .
But if I seen that in the corner of my eye I’d think it’s some kitsch phrase.
I’ve only gotten Sinn Féin at my door so far.
We have a “no sales” sign and yet the phone watch etc still ring the bell, they definitely don’t read.
Their priority is to sell (be it a product or a political outlook). They don’t care about your baby. Sorry but that’s why it keeps happening.
Not 1 politician has came to my door
If I’m delivering a van load of mail I’m not reading every fuckin decoration people put on their door in fairness.
Canvassers don’t give a fuck though, which is weird because they’re out actively losing votes.

You’re getting people calling?
I’ve found nobody reads those signs.
