  6. The custom up armour on this is pretty interesting. Its angled to add a little extra protection, which is miniscule but still there. It angles away from the crew hatches to relocate whatever drops aren’t perfect.

    If there is need for an immediate egress and roll off the side these guys are boned. Someone competent was at work on this one.

  14. The original optics were doubtless removed and sold by sticky-fingered staff while the vehicle was slowly rusting in a storage facility, so they swapped them out with some 1980s era 480p CCTV bank cameras they found.

  15. Combat footage has had multiple videos where an engagement was won by destroying the optics when they lacked firepower to breach the armor on a tank.

  20. This is why I’m not worried about Russia “reverse engineering” any of western kit- you have to actually know how to engineer stuff and be intelligent to reverse engineer equipment. Russia’s intellectual base seems to be evacuating the country.
