How to win in Ukraine: pour it on, and don’t worry about escalation. The Biden administration has been too cautious. There’s still time to change that.

Massive funding, instead of dooling out more over longer terms. pay big now and win fast or pay piecemeal and win later with higher costs total.
Latest tech weaponry, remove restrictions on their use, More sanctions, wider sanctions to hit secondary participants, put our economies on war footing in response to Russia and China’s escalation, Start disentanglement of our Economics with Russia, China, NK and Iran. Treat Iran, China and NK as active targets for sanctions and blockades as well following developments, faster reactions by our Politicians.
this would be a good start but it wont stop Authoritarian aggression. We need more ideas, more money, more action and we need it yesterday.
But how? Biden is… Biden, he hasn’t changed in two years and there is zero sights of it happening in the future, and the only alternative is Trump which is even worse.
I believe in Texas Hold’em terms – all in. US has aces, Russia is bluffing with 35offsuit.
You’ll notice that the only people telling everyone to not worry about escalation are those with no experience whatsoever in this field.
Too right- war is not a passive-aggressive activity! Its unadulterated aggression till you win.
**Despite putin’s trolls who protest**, russia will not stop at Ukraine as Hitler didn’t stop at Poland. If we let putin win, they will attempt to take over Europe. *History* is the guide to a dictators actions.
Part of what a lot of leaders are afraid of is the disintegration of the Russian state, be it by ethnic groups or warlords grabbing all the territory they can, then Russia’s nukes flooding the black market.
Frankly I think some kind of collapse is inevitable. The focus should be on buying them up. During the fall of the Soviet Union the U.S. bought hundreds of kilos of weapons grade uranium.
Russians were fighting Americans in Vietnam
Chinese were fighting Americans in Korea
Both of those did not result in WW3. Although thankfully, McArthur was fired which helped. So there is a precedent. We can have our troops in Ukraine, particularly the west.
My only worry is Iran and North Korea sending troops to fight alongside Russia.
Ruzzian army is imploding. It’s all propaganda and nuclear threats. It’s a smokescreen for a defeated army.
Biden and Co are too pussy to confront Russia. Putin is laughing his ass off in his throne in Russia because he knows we have weak leadership. This drip feed of military aid and slow escalation of sanctions has allowed Russia to weather the storm.
Putin doesn’t want smoke with the USA. It’s all a bluff
We should give weapons with reckless abandon, like we are doing for Israel.
