Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is Bayern Munich's "preferred choice" to become their new manager.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern are prioritising Kompany to replace Thomas Tuchel at the helm despite the Clarets' relegation.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano also reported the same story earlier and claimed the Bavarians have "discussed the Belgian tactician internally" among other possible successors.

Romano also suggested that Brighton are interested as well as they look for Roberto De Zerbi's replacement.

  1. Bayern outside the CL places next season if they get Kompany. How can he seriously be in talks?! He got relegated this season in his first season as a manager in the top 5 leagues. A 38 year old former center back.

Can he even talk german? And have you listened to his press conferences? The german press and fans would tear him apart wtf

  2. I don’t understand why Bayern isn’t going after Pochettino. He is the best option right now
