The often come with a ridiculous raft of conditions about what you can and can’t do with and to them but sometimes not.
You could grow some good spuds in that soil though.

Fairly sure churches didn’t originate in the UK and that they were around before the 19th century.
God that website is unreadable. The amount of ads and pop ups is just plain ridiculous.
Other than that it looks like an amazing building, I’d love to live in that. At least you know the immediate neighbours will be quiet.
The Methodist Church in our village closed last year and is going on the market for £150k. Dirt cheap. However – listed G2, in a conservation area, will need a huge amount of work to convert it into anything else (if/when you finally get permission), and you’ve got to leave all features in place. Good luck! Might be good as a village hall, hut I can’t think of anything else to do with it.
