I think because of its location it preys on tourists who don’t know any better. There’s cheaper pubs in the area.
The fish & chips and chicken mains are about the same price as you’d pay in pubs in outer London so that looks OK. The beers are pretty specialised, I’m not sure what they retail for but given I recently paid £13 for a double G&T in a Fullers perhaps they aren’t too far off.
