  1. Ban the far-right. Shut down their media outlets. Repress them. What is so hard to understand?

  2. Far rights are Putins Toyboys. I hate them for being Antieuropean. I cannot figure out how dumb someone must be to vote for your own enemies.

  3. You guys just can’t wait to start up a Third Reich, can you? Imagine wondering how Nazi Germany got so much endorsement by ordinary people…

  4. And they will continue to gain as long as they are the only ones speaking out against mass migrations.

  5. Oh, the irony of them people who use democratic systems to vote and express support towards those who will most likely cull them down if they end up in power and enough time is at hand.

Bush sr. ended his presidency with a clear suggestion/indication -> Do NOT pull out of Europe/Russia , as the Soviet Union crumbled under Gorbaciov and Yeltsin, because they will not be able to adjust to the new democratic style. Democracy is a hard gain and an even harder transition, especially from Comunism.

In 90’s Russia, ‘shitocracy’ was the game, as they called it on the open … no wonder such loonatics like Putin ended up in power (and big fucking wow, the guy will die in power because he makes the rules alone, and we all collectively have to shit our pants cause he just might thermo-nuke our ass and his own.)

But what is the excuse of a 2024 country like Hungary? How is Wilders the ‘shoot caller’ in Holland 2024? Austria? Trump in USA :)) , a second term.

For the shortcomings and failed democracy in Russia post 90’s, the West is also responsible, we get that … but why do people vote with the Extremes in 2024 with all the info at hand?

  6. This is what happens when you allow money from enemy powers to fund parties that literally work against your system and you do nothing about it.

  7. Do you think EU should ban far right (and far left) parties?

  8. Who would have thought that all the anti left propaganda would lead to this…/S

  9. The conservative block could watch the continent burn and will somehow still be the biggest single recipient of votes.I don’t understand it.

How bad do things have to get before: “You did nothing, well done” is no longer sufficient? Inaction is not a plan, pretending problems don’t exist does not solve them.

  10. It kinda makes me think what would have to happen for a conservative eurofederalist party to exist (not that I would vote for one)

  11. Go vote in the e EU elections, on ecological, progressive, pro ukraine, social welfare parties that also want to re industrialize EU and have an strong technological economy!

Dont let the far right or the right (that ends up always opening up to the far right…) win.

  12. In my opinion:

A Pro European strong right is currently Europe’s best option with the self made crisis it is dealing with and the lethargic current administrations. literal liberal pro European nationalism to emphasize Europe’s leading role in humanism, social cohesion and wealth in times of resulting autocracy across the globe.

A Pro Russian anti EU strong right being by far the least preferable political orientation

  13. It’s gonna be a very interesting european election.

And the reaction from certain reddit subs will be as well.

  14. It makes me incredibly angry and frustrated to see Europe day by day becoming a bastion of the conservative far right. We used to pride ourselves on our social-democracy and welfare systems, while now we are just falling into a black hole of right wing populism. As a young person, I was optimistic about the EU project, but I can’t be anymore. I’m sad, hopeless and powerless, as is my whole demographic who is inevitably going to have a hard future or just leave the EU to better places. It’s just sad…

  15. That’s disheartening – but politics is a pendulum. This time the conservatives may win but in the end progressive ideas usually win out.

  16. Can we not have any far left or right governments, thanks

  17. With capitalism exploiting us and turning workers against each other it’s inevitable that people fall to fascism. While the normal working people struggle because of entirely fabricated economic conditions imposed on us by corporations people look for any reason to lash out at the world and a place to put their blame.

  18. center and center lefts needs to fix illegal immigration before it’s too late. Denmark has it right

  19. The centre right are still ruling out a coalition with the right. Voting centre right guarantees you a coalition with the centre left.

  20. The harder life becomes, the more likely people are to start pointing fingers and ‘easy solutions’ to be offered.

Easy solutions would be criticism to things such as immigration/european institutions/taxes etc

Our economical environment is a breeding ground for far right politicians. It’s a chance but it is what it is.

    Populism is popular.
