  1. He’s a good bit shorter, but with his hair dyed black and the scarf and hat, etc. I can see it. Ian Bailey was all about the attitude, dahlings.

  2. I wish they would just leave this alone, Sophies family have been through enough

  3. I liked Jim Sheridan’s documentary series on the case and felt it didn’t try to sway on Bailey’s guilt, but Sheridan has said he wants this film to clear Bailey’s name and I’m not interested in an opinion, just the facts

  4. Brave call to get someone with a big Irish head on him to play someone who had a big English head on him.

Talk about ~~colour~~ head blind casting.

  5. Well, I’ll watch it but already I don’t know why.

  6. Meaney is the best, but Bailey is definetly a job for Ciaran Hinds.

  7. This is going to be absolutely terrible even if technically speaking it’s well made.

  8. If I have my sums right, Bailey would’ve been late 30s, early 40s at the time of Sophie’s murder?

Colm Meaney meanwhile is 71 next week (5 years older than Bailey ever was).

  9. I have always been hoping that Colm Meaney gets to play Captain Kirk ! !

  10. Poor shout. He’s so far removed from Ian Bailey with that big Irish red sweaty head on him. Great actor nonetheless.

  11. It’s kinda weird for him to make a film like this after doing a documentary on the same subject. Has a director ever done something like this before?

  12. Its a bit like getting Danny DeVito to be James Bond.

  13. I think Liam Cunningham or Ciaran Hinds could pull of the resemblance better than Colin.

  14. Needs to be a tall, English actor in his late 40s or early 50s. Not a short, Irish actor hitting 70 ffs

  15. Can people try to make ANY more money out of this tragedy. Leave her and her family in peace. Documentaries, newspaper articles, podcasts and now a movie. Pathetic from Sheridan and everyone involved.
