If Ukraine actually gets 60 aircraft, has enough trained pilots, and we give them the best weapons to use on them, that could make a difference. Especially since russian air defense is taking a beating. A lot of IF’s though.
I had this thought USA should send over all the recently decommissioned AV-8B’s from the marines!
Yes they are tricky to fly but can mount most Nato munitions AND they can be dispersed all over the place close to front lines and hidden in almost any location as they have STOVOL or even VTOL with reduced loads.
It will drive the Russians mad trying to deal with them.
60 F-16s is a very respectable fleet.
can we give them like 180? Lets play to win.
How many of the 60 will actually be able to fly and how many will be for spare parts?
So do we have an idea what they will mainly be used for?
What types of weapons and range are we expecting them to have.
They are also training at other locations in the US. They have been flying over my house for 9 months. I’m a thousand miles from AZ.
I hope the training went well they are going into a very dynamic environment and a lot of pressure I think has been placed on them
It’s a new platform so I’m guessing it will take time for them to be able to use it to the full potential
I don’t think it will be some wonder wepon but I believe it allow ukraine more opportunities to hurt the Russians
God speed lads!!
well, for sure RU is not just standing by waiting for the F16 to arrive…
