Clubs get additional medals by PL which they can distribute among players who they deem deserving.

  1. Good for him, I still like the lad. He’s a good human from what it seems like. Just sucks it hasn’t worked out for him at City! Who knows maybe this summer things can be different for him. Work very hard and get back into the team

  3. incredible. multiple time PL champions, european champion, treble winner, world champion, insane trophy haul. the team thats getting him will get a mentality monster. should be 45m atleast.

  4. I’m personally glad the team decided to give Kalvin a medal.

    Being on a team is being there every day to support your teammates however you can, and seems like he did contribute in his own ways before he went out on loan.

    **From PL website**

    * The champions are given **40 commemorative medals**
    * They can be distributed to the manager, players and officials, **as the club see fit, as long as every player who has made at least five Premier League appearances during the title-winning season gets one**.
    * **Additional medals** may only be presented with the consent of the Premier League Board, and that will **only be granted if more than 39 players have made at least five PL appearances** during the campaign.

    *adding: PL should clarify their ‘medal rules’ for GK though – saw an article last year that said bc 2nd/3rd GK don’t often make 5 appearances, they can also be grounds to request for extra medals.*
