It’s so surprising that my second immediate thought was this is actually just a crazy conspiracy by Spalleti to make Loca unhappy and leave Juventus.

Wow. I’ve always liked Loca and do believe his regression has been a direct consequence of being played out of position by Allegri. At the same time I think he needs to step it up a level because his true talent rarely shows anymore. You can see glimpses of it every game, but only faint glimpses.
Let’s hope this lights a fire under Loca for next season and he comes back blazing.

I’m also not expecting Fagioli to be in the final squad, at the end of the day he still missed most of the season. Though he’s for sure one of the most talented midfielders of the squad.
In any case I hope this exclusion can motivate Loca to do better next season. Yes, he was not used in his role, Allegriball was shit and yada yada, but he didn’t really do much to shine. I hope he’ll do better under Thiago Motta.

Locatelli has been very underwhelming this season. He is just not good as a regista and there are way better options as mezzalas.
Fagioli has a lot more creativity than Loca, so i understand Spallettis decision.
