Nearly 10,000 people have been forced to leave their homes in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region since a ground attack launched by Russian forces on May 10, the regional governor said. The assault may only be the first wave of a wider offensive, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

  1. Russian forces have expanded the area of combat operations in the northern Kharkiv region by 43 miles, announced on Friday by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrski. Meanwhile, the Europe 1 radio station provided new information regarding the actions of Western leaders concerning the peace talks between Kiev and Moscow.

According to the radio station's reports, "Western offices are preparing coordinated diplomatic actions to persuade Volodymyr Zelensky to accept the terms of negotiations."

We read, "Kyiv will have to conduct talks about ending the war, risking the worst possible scenario, such as the Russians opening another section of the front."

"The Russians has expanded the area of active combat operations by almost 43 miles, trying in this way to force us to use an additional number of brigades from the reserve. The Russians has concentrated its main efforts on the direction of Strilecha-Lypci and capturing Vovchansk, with further advancement towards Bilyi Kolodiaz and starting an offensive on the rear of our troops," wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrski, on Facebook on Friday.'

The military also noted that the Russians "started the offensive much earlier than planned." "We are facing heavy fighting, and the Russians is preparing for it," he added.

The amount of territory Russia has liberated over the last several weeks is about as large as the territory Ukraine retook during its lackluster spring counteroffensive in 2023. This new assault from Russia means Ukraine will have to move forces around, especially to the north.

  2. Oh these people, heartbreaking how they have to run for their lives. So many dead.

Zelenski you haven't got men or women or boys to rotate, you are killing your own. No better than Stalin.

    STOP

  3. The ordinary Ukrainians are paying the price of the miscalculation of its ruler (Zenleski).

Right from the beginning of the war, we commoners know Russians will achieve its aims and objectives, but the corrupt western media's and their rulers differ common sense and proved stubborn, today, Ukraine is in the shadow of itself.

US and its vassal states will run away just as they did in Vietnam and Afghanistan.

    Nonsense!

  4. Zelanssky doesn’t have rights to force people leave homes,,Kharkiv is Russian city, Russian build up,,They have families all over city’s cities in Russia,,Russian soldiers will never ever harmed people in Kharkiv

  5. US and NATO is using Ukraniians as cannon fodder in its proxy war against Russia and Zelensky is just amassing wealth so he can leave anytime and enjoy his billions in Miami…

  6. Putin is trying to deceive anyone willing to be deceived. He has stated publicly for years Ukraine as a country doesn't exist, it's Russian territory.
If he actually wants a "buffer" he already has one, Belarus and the Oblast bordering Ukraine.

  7. That's right. Please leave for now as Russian Military Operation is still continue. Russians DO WANT MINIMIZE the amount of victims amongst innocent civilian as much as possible. Thank you for understanding & God bless yoy all.

  8. has anyone seen any of those multi million $ ‘strategic defences’ that the western sponsors previously paid for ?
the historical M$M footage of zionliesky saying how ‘impressive’ they were seems to have suddenly ‘disappeared’.

  9. If Zilensky didnt take the advise of the west and america and accepted the Turckey deal or Elon musk deal many people where not going to suffer

  10. It's a bit late to talk about fresh troops in almost June isn't it. You need time to train them first. This guy is hopeless blaming everybody else.

  11. If Ukraine lost war from Russia! Then Europe will not be peaceful like today! Is Europeans are waiting for that happened again in Europe?

  12. But you’ve been telling us Ukraine is winning?! What will this aid do? Can they stuff cash in artillery barrels? Commission a clone army?

  13. What a joker.
If he was a wise man, he should have gone for negotiation after russia pulled back from Kyiv with very favorable terms to kyiv.
Instead he tried to totally defeat a military super power.
Now whole country & so called western world suffering.
I'm really happy our asian leaders didn't involve in this madness.
Western sanctions on russia also make way to russian cheap natural resources to Asia Instead of Europe.
All in all this is not bad for asia. Western world self destroying themselves over Ukraine.

  14. Electing Zellenskky was the biggest mistake Ukraine made. Another was shelling Russian border regions.
