Prince William joined an impromptu game of volleyball on Thursday during a visit to Fistral beach in Newquay.

The Prince, wearing an open-necked blue shirt, took a few attempts at a serve and was given a polite clap for his efforts.

The game came after his first visit to an innovative housing project in Newquay that he hopes will be used as a blueprint to help tackle homelessness across the UK.

  1. Is he dressed for beach? Who wears dress casual pants, dress shirt to the beach? Is he trying to blend in? I think not. He’s trying to give the appearance of every day worker, I think NOT.

  2. William is such a breath of fresh air after being bombarded with the other's videos. Such a beautiful beach, and William is such a positive force!!💫

  4. #PrinceWilliam the Leader Who Knows The Way Goes The Way And Shows The Way..he is a great leader who don't set out to be a Leader..he set out to make a difference, it never about the role – always about the GOAL

  5. The only reason he did this because of his brother doing the same thing with men that have been injured as a serviceman. William maybe trying to steal the thunder from his confident brother, but also the people they, Meghan and Harry, were meeting while in Nigeria.

  6. I love the way he walks among people and his bodyguards are nowhere close. I’m sure they’re there but they’re definitely not as close as they should be.

  7. Far be it from me to say something positive about Wills, however this was a breath of fresh air. He actually showed his human side and his love of having a bit of fun. It’s about time we see this. The Windsors have been acting like gods of sorts, time to dump that rubbish. They put their trousers on the same as everyone else.

  8. Harry is on a tour of Nigeria, by invitation, to bring awareness to the Invictus Games; meanwhile, slick Willy (camera crew in tow) decides to visit a local beach. Other than to bring awareness to himself (look at me!) what was he promoting?
