  1. The monarch of the United Kingdom (not just England) is whoever parliament recognises. You couldn’t usurp Liz just by having a stronger ancestral claim.

    absolute primogeniture only became a thing in the UK in 2013 with the changes to the Act of Settlement and the Bill of Rights

    and the Act explicitly says it only applies to those born after 2011

    The Act of Settlement also states you have to be a descendant of Sophia of Hanover
