Lucy Letby loses appeal bid to get murder convictions thrown out

1. Americans who watch too many TV crime dramas in shambles.

2. Good, she’s guilty of everything she did to those poor babies.

3. Wish she’d been successful. Have a lot of question marks about this case.

5. I don’t even know why any psychopaths even believe shes innocent or has been wrongly convicted. She literally got caught in two cases attempting to poison kids so they’d die and police later found evidence when reassessing blood evidence from the children’s deaths that they’d been poisoned with insulin or had air injected into their bloodstream.

   Then the statistical analysis where she was on duty every single time a child unexplainedly died is pretty damning, particularly when they intentionally moved her shifts and the deaths followed the shift changes.

   Honestly disgusting that the consultants who flagged this up years prior weren’t believed, and even more disgusting the gross stans out there claiming she’s innocent and should be freed.

6. If ever there was ever a person that could unite the UK, it would be in hating this cunt.

7. I have honestly no idea if she is guilty or not because, like everyone else who comments here, I wasn’t at the trial. 

   I will say however that anyone who has looked at the Horizon Scandal and thought ‘how on earth did that happen’ should remain conscious of the fact that a conviction in a British Court does not guarantee the conviction is safe. 

   My personal view is that there was a trial in which the jury saw the evidence and she was found guilty on most charges, and whilst it isn’t perfect, it’s the best system available. However, if one day it is found this was a horrific miscarriage of justice, I wouldn’t be totally shocked either. 

8. Good, she is a truly horrendous person. She should never be let out.

9. If she hadn’t refused to attend her sentencing hearing then her protestations of innocence might have carried some weight but her contempt of the system shows that she only cares about herself.

10. Psychopaths are often deluded.
    Joseph Fritzel believed he was protecting Elizabeth when he locked her in the basement and abused her for over 10 years.

Call me a crank but I firmly believe in 10 years time this’ll get overturned and the same people frenziedly shouting at the screen trying to one-up each other with florid descriptions of her evil will be wondering “how did we let this happen”. Rather like the Post Office case. There’ll be a Netflix special and nothing will be learned.

12. Next time, I am guessing, and I am sure she and her family are hoping.

    There are so many holes in this case.
