A Ukrainian M2A2 Bradley is knocked out, a second one coming to their help manages to collect the crew and flee the scene while being shelled from artillery and drones, west of Ocheretyne

Instead of French tanks, German tanks and English tanks, we should make a fundraiser for Bradleys it seems…
Also this is one of the best combat footage we have seen this war. May be the best. With so many hits and surviving personel.
Damn. Those things are tough and protect the crew perfectly. They were all able to run under their own steam. A Russian equivalent would have completely disintegrated.
Both Bradley’s did their job with both crews surviving to fight another day. Can’t ask for more out of a combat vehicle.
russian junk doesn’t even make it out
As a former op/cmd I love seeing how these vehicles fair in a more traditional war when we never really got the chance. That engine did not like whatever that was. And those weird secondaries from the arty? Anyone have any ideas?

First and foremost, despite taking multiple hits the crew survived. Second, at great risk to their own lives, their mates came to their aid. Third, they actually escaped the encounter. They did so without running over any of their own guys.
Also of note was the spread of that russian artillery. There’s a defined path and the bradley followed it, while artillery landed in the fields away from the road. If russian troops or gear were adequate, you would think they could zero in on obvious landmarks better than that?
Furthermore, everybody (for damn good reason) goes on and on about Ukraine’s lack of shells, but let’s not forget russia is also suffering a deficit, which they’ve been filling with substandard north korean surplus, yet here they are pounding away like there’s no tomorrow and coming up empty. Plus you just know they didn’t wait for the second bradley to start driving away before they started shelling, so there was a lot more artillery misses than those we saw.
Finally, not included in the video, was Ukraine’s counterbattery fire on those artillery pieces doing all that shooting, which could very well have resulted in further losses of equipment and personnel. Ukraine destroyed 42 more artillery systems yesterday, bringing the total to 12,902. Those losses have to come from somewhere. This is exactly the scenario where that happens.
The fact that Russians brag about this is embarrassing. It’s a win for Ukraine and their personal who will return in a new vehicle.

As an Iraq veteran I’ll never get the pride that Russians seem to have when they knock out western equipment that was knocked out by inbred illiterate religious extremest on a frequent basis in the middle east. If those worthless fucks can do it the worlds second greatest military should be able to do even more damage. We’re drip feeding Ukraine right now. There’s no way they could stand against a capable NATO fighting force.
