Anderlecht aren’t the team that they once were. Kompany took them as high as they could, then once he left I believe they dropped to 11th.
With Burnley, yes the stomped the championship, but the premier league is a different beast. It says something when all 3 promoted teams were relegated. The difference in squads, depth and money is such a big difference that it’s more surprising if he stayed then up.
Before this season, Alonso had a 41% win rate. It took an undefeated league run for him to get to 53% which is where he is now.
