  1. Why wouldn’t they announce this after the final lol

  2. *United have identified Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, Kieran McKenna, Graham Potter and Thomas Frank*

My two cents… some coaches are better suited to developing mid-tier teams, rather than top tier teams who can have a number/lot of players with strong egos. Those take a different kind of personality – think Pep or Klopp. That would eliminate Frank, Potter and Tuchel, imho. Pochettino might be able to, but he didn’t have enough time at Chelsea or PSG (maybe with good reason). That leaves McKenna. He’s never coached top tier teams. I know since 2021, McKenna has brought Ipswich from EFL L1 to the Premier League next season (getting promoted and sticking around are 2 very different things), but ManU is not Ipswich or its fans or management (or players). It could be a bridge too far at this juncture in his career.

  3. Remember when fergie was there and they always used to boast about not sacking managers. That was a one off, they’re just like every other club, hoping that the next one is the right one.

  4. That’s the fucking energy to take into a cup final. Guessing Chelsea get europa then 😂

  5. Alan Curbishly, Glenn Roeder, Gary Megson…………so many options.

  6. ETH didn’t talk to Bayern out of “loyalty” to United…. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out Erik

  7. Bad timing, but he’s been disappointing, I think he’s the worst manager they’ve had post Fergie. Now United need to grow a pair and offload their deadweight players, especially those on high wages.

  8. Who knew having your lowest ever finish in the league would have this outcome. /s

Maybe if he had some dignity and acknowledged his shortcomings I’d feel sorry for him. But like with Mourinho, every loss was because of someone else

  9. Guardian my arse. If Fabrizio doesn’t tweet it, it’s not true.

  10. Good for him. I’m sure he’ll do much better at another club now.

  11. I’d sack the boring bastard 10 minutes before kick off in the dugout. You > fuck off back down that tunnel.

  12. At least we’ll stop hearing him yap about that Arsenal game.

  13. He broke almost every United worst record. I’m surprised he lasted this long and not more fans wanted him out.

  14. Idk if this is even true anymore, seen so many reports from everywhere but I feel that SJR will only decide after the FA Cup final

  15. I think he probably had to go hit having this new come out for me is really disrespectful (as have the leaks to the press about this over the past month or two).

  16. “We played well but the decisions were against us. If Garnacho’s goal stood, and Hoijund got a penalty for pulling the Arsenal defenders arm I maybe would still have a job.”

ETH, in probably 3 days time.

  17. Why anaunce this before the FA cup final?

Might as well give City the title already

  18. He is off to Chelsea…… Poch to utd……

Hmm I wonder what the odds are right now 😂

  19. INEOS are the ones that have a huge role to play in keeping the glazers still in charge. I still have my doubts on whether they have the ability to make the right decisions for a club of this stature facing problems at such a large scale.

Sacking a coach is easy, selling useless players is difficult. I doubt whether they would be able to sell more than 5 in the summer

  20. Didn’t they do the same thing last year or year before? Or was that Chelsea?
