Should have been gone time ago, but the blame is on the management for blindly extending him for so long, hopefully there won’t be as many hateful comments regarding his last few years here.
Remember when it seemed like the only logical solution to decline the 60 million offer by Chelsea.
2015-2019: world class. 2019-2024: above average.
If this is true, this is great news. I like the guy and I respect him for all he’s done for the club in the past, but it’s time for him to leave. He hasn’t been good in over 5 years and getting rid of his massive salary is a huge plus. Hopefully he’ll get a nice send off.
Nonetheless guys. If somebody of you will be in the stadium tomorrow. Give him a big applause. He gave us a lot. Even if the last years where underwhelming. Thank you Alex !
He is a club LEGEND. Spent his best years here and loved the club. Never any drama, rumours, clashes, played with grinta always. He wasn’t even close to good enough last two years but his tenure will be remembered very fondly a couple years down the line.
He’s been a meme and has been around too long but peak allegri Juve when we went to two CL finals he was top LB in the league and top 3 in Europe.
I’ll never forgot him pocketing Messi in the CL that one year
Too easy to let our short memories hurt a well earned legacy
