Vooruit is hunting them racist votes. Is this the Conner effect they are referring to?
Eerst onze graaiers.
Groen getting dangerously close to the kiesdrempel there

I don’t like this reality we’re living in, can i trade it in for another?
So the biggest takeaway from this poll (, other than the obvious rise of the extremes), is that LE is getting rather big and that Vivaldi I isn’t going to get the necessary 76 seats. Vivaldi will need to include LE if they want to keep NVA out. This will however make several parties mathematically superfluous, most notably oVLD. It would make it impossible for De Croo to remain as prime minister because it would mean that the prime minister has zero leverage over his own government. The prime minister’s spot was however the necessary price to pay to get oVLD on board with Vivaldi I. Without some concession, it is unlikely that oVLD would want to be in an economically left-leaning eight-party government that wants to increase taxes on the rich. Also, oVLD could use an opposition treatment to reconstitute themselves after being in government for 25 years. If oVLD quits however, it would mean that MR is isolated and that the government would be extremely lopsided towards Francophones. Only about a third of the government seats would be going to Flemish parties and only about a third of Flemish votes would be represented in government. I don’t know how CD&V would react to that. It would also give NVA and VB plenty of ammunition to shoot at the government. Also, the total number of seats would only barely be over 76, making the government highly unstable.
A possible solution would be to kick out one of the green parties but not the other. Both these parties are notoriously close and highly unlikely to agree to such a split without a fight.
A final option would be a government including NVA, but that’s a can of worms in it’s own right.
tldr; Belgium is going to attempt to break it’s own record!
