US political independents drift closer to Republicans’ sour view of economy

   Now it’s Democrats vs. everyone else, and that makes it easier to understand exactly where the line between fact and political fantasy is.

3. So let’s think about what this means if these people go in the booth and pull that lever for Trump, shall we?

   1. J. Powell gets pressured to lower interest rates. He refuses, then resigns in protest.
   2. Some wacko is confirmed to replace Powell, who then promptly lowers interest rates.
   3. There’s a short bump in the economy, promptly followed by a supply chain nightmare.
   4. Inflation reaches an all time high and remains that way for years.

   Prepare yourself accordingly just in case these people who are “souring” on the economy decide to pour gasoline on the fire. Some of them want to see the world burn, so you know a lot of them will just because they can.

   Good luck. You, me and everyone else is gonna need it.
