1. Typical kids of rich people – think they know everything, no context for or need to understand anything because they’ll inherit more than many people will make in their lives, and very easily accessible for propaganda along the lines of “you are just inherently better than *those people*”.

   Not unexpected, but obviously extremely worrying nonetheless. At least the police already seem to be involved on this one.

4. Germany basically needs foreigners to fuel it’s economy. Thats just facts. If they didn’t they wouldn’t have let anyone in and have full on declining population with one of the oldest societies in the world. Median age there is 46 with immigrants and without would be even worse.

5. Aesthetically they have that FDP upper class look. Doubt any of them would vote for AFD.

6. These people are so weird. It is the people who never experienced these regimes that want to go back to the “good old days.” Even when boomers say it, it is the ones who experienced harshness the least.

7. 36 years ago one of Germany’s most successful punk bands wrote a song with the lyrics “When will Sylt be sunk into the sea?”, guess nothing has changed over there.

   It was too funny, when we had the 9-Euro ticket in summer 2022 many punks went to Sylt, hung around in public, drank a lot, and annoyed the shit out of the rich elites on vacation there.

10. This isn’t the most important point but why are there so few people so crammed together? I’ve been to sylt, it’s not that small!

From the perspective of Germany nazis managed to send milions of German youth to meaninglessly bleed out in the eastern front, forbid evacuations even when it became completely clear that the war is lost leading to hundreds thousands more to die in captivity. In few short years in power they managed to turn German cities in rubble and dust and subject almost half of German territory to occupation for the next 45 years, splitting the nation in two.

    Quite an achievement for 12 years in power…
