  7. There was a time when I got republican mailers (I live in Chicago and have voted solidly blue my whole life) and they were so weird. I’d just write F_ _ _ T_ _ _ _! all over them and mail them back. After awhile they got the hint. What a waste of resources!

  9. The fliers are a desperate measure in an attempt to frighten weak minded voters, otherwise known as MAGA.

    What the flier(s) conveniently left out is the offices and candidates that a person votes for are confidential and secret. It’s when a person votes in a particular party’s primary that their party’s affiliation is public information, and their name will be listed in that party’s voting rosters.

  13. Internally there is a civil war going on within the Texas GOP. On one side are far right elements, and they are attacking the moderates and conservatives. The far right’s champion is the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who was recently impeached. Even though Ken Paxton is widely believed to be guilty of several offenses ( privately many of his GOP allies admit it), he has skillfully managed to escape justice so far. Paxton flew to NYC to give support to Donald Trump.

    There is a lot of discussion about who sent these mailers going on in Texas but I am with those that believe this was designed to help the far right candidates running now for the Texas legislature.

    Bro this would make me Furious.  My blood is boiling FOR these people.  How are they not out there mass protesting?

  17. republicans can run on issues. republicans can’t run on accomplishments or policy. All republicans have is gerrymandering, voter suppression, and voter intimidation. republicans can’t lead.

  19. They should, you know, vote…but for someone else? That’s your party trying to intimidate you. Those are “your people.” Imagine what they do/want to do to people they don’t think are “their people.” Look in the mirror and be a better person.

  33. It is voter intimidation and those behind it belong in jail. Election officials need to inform the public about this kind of Kremlin behavior. But it’s Texas…

  36. People in the US so far have not lived through dictatorship and have zero sense what it really is.
    The Trump campaign is already providing us a preview of what’s to come. But MAGA has been fed so many lies that they simply have no capacity anymore to see through it. Hate is always easier to let in than the good emotions.
