What are you guys having for lunch? I was in the mood for something extra today, so I added two 6mm cucumber slices.

  4. I always save up a bit longer so I can have 1 cm slices. It feels like a waste if it’s barely tastable.

    Looking good though.

  5. Two Karelian pies topped with Aura cheese, Schwarzwälder schinken and cucumber. It took me nearly two minutes to prepare this lunch, but I like to do some slow cooking on weekends. 👨‍🍳

  12. Homemade fettucini with asparagus and pork cheeks (guanciale idk what’s the name in english) didn’t feel like doing anything special

  14. Pasty / pie from the local bakery, my brothers mrs has just gone to get it, who knows what she’ll bring back? The excitement is overwhelming

  15. I usually take a toast of rustic bread with hummus and sprinkle scrambbled eggs on top of it + a bit of mustard

  21. Why do Nordics add cucumber to their sad lunches?That’s an ingredient for salads or some dishes, but… On its own? It doesn’t make sense to begin with.

    I want to eat at home to save money and siesta.

    Eating out doesn’t let me siesta before or after. I am forced to drive places.

  38. Man when I see photos like this I thank to be born in an south European country. Yes, we have a huge level of unemployment, but, why do you want money if your existence is so sad eating like that?

    Assembled into the bun, it’s a sure 5€ train station shop delicacy.

  41. Carrot-potato stoemp with homemade applesauce and half a chipolata.
    Don’t worry, it was yesterday’s leftovers so I didn’t cook.

  44. Pair it with some tall glass of tap water. Great, efficient and nutritious!

  45. Frozen Thai green curry from Aldi and a cup of tea.

    Dinner will be frozen Chorizo and mozzarella pasta also from Aldi.
