  3. Honestly, just **striking troops in case of a nuclear attack is certainly not enough**. Especially given how little Russians care about their troops.

  4. I very much doubt this is the case at all for a simple reason. If we attack Russian positions in response to Russian nuclear usage in Ukraine. It puts millions of American lives at risk with the likelihood of a Russian nuclear response.

    Biden’s first responsibility is to Americans not Ukraine or NATO citizens.

  15. This is a bit strange. Russian nuclear doctrine always had tactical nukes in an artillery role. If they use them, they won’t use one, it’ll be a steady thing to enable a blitz through europe. What does the US think it’s conventional arsenal will do against that? I suspect this article is just straight up bullshit.

  18. The US and NATO would achieve air superiority over Ukraine in about 24 hours should they enter.  

  19. Russia doesn’t need to use nukes they just need to hold what they have and try and manipulate the US election. If the support from the US dried up they will successfully annex most of what they stole and the war will end. They already project significant soft power in the US, and with a Trump Presidency it’s a wrap in any hope of ever getting that land back, which is honestly already unlikely at this point.

  27. Using nukes is a level of desperation Russia won’t use (imo) unless Ukraine somehow starts taking over Russian land or perhaps Crimea.

    I don’t think Putin or anyone in his entourage thinks becoming the upmost paria state of the world is worth beating Ukraine
