Dramatic footage shows Ukraine ‘traitor’ stealing tank and defecting to Russia

Footage reportedly shows the dramatic moment a Ukrainian servicemen stole a T-64 tank and drove it across the frontline to ‘defect to Russia’. Maxim Likhachev is now suspected of being a long-time Russian plant in the Ukrainian army, and carrying out “sabotage” work in favour of Vladimir Putin’s forces.

  2. TOP High morale of people yesterday drafted from the streets.Half of population in so called Ukraine supports Russia. Whole Donbass, Odessa, Kharkov and even Kiev are historically Russian. Meanwhile Ukrainain identity was fabricated in the western Ukraine.

  3. Interesting that you tube allows videos of Russians being targeted but not Ukranian. I’ve seen plenty of videos on telegram that show the targeting of Ukranian soldiers but never aired on you tube. Some are gruesome I do admit. Terrible what we are supporting.

  8. Сдача в плен вместе с танком фейк. Сменить четыре бригады не легко, даже "відношення" не даёт гарантии, что тебя отпустят в другую бригаду. Вернулся из Польши, вступил в ряды ВСУ, где-то когда-то договорился о сдаче и спецслужбы не засекли переговоры? На кого это рассчитано? Хотя русские схавают легко.

    1. Why wouldn't the Russian shoot at the tank coming at them?
    Because they knew it was coming.
    2. Why old tank, what's the point?
    It's the modernized T-64 until recently still produced in Ukraine.
    3. Still I don't get it, what's the deal?
    The tank was filled up to the rim with bootleg vodka, the Russians were waiting with pork fat and salt.

  17. So Stupid if he is a Saboteur for Russia i dont get the reason why he escaped with a t62. If he is much more handy as a Saboteur in the Ukrainian Army for the Russians. It looks more like something that looks good on paper and receive a medal for doing something special to show to the higher commanders. Just one corrupt action out of many in the Russian Paper and Meat Army.🤣

  24. Thats why Ukraine should stop with kidnapping males on the streets and forcing them to fight. Some of them will harbour deep resentment and go against you. Thats what happened with the tank driver who surrendered through the russian radio waves which was prepared for Ukrainians who want to surrender.

  30. Your videos get worse and worse. Now you are calling tanks, IFVs and APCs "war machines". This is gibberish. Any powered mechanical device used in combat can be called a "war machine". For instance, the Moskva guided missile cruiser could have been called a "war machine", but I didn't see that in this video, because it's at the bottom of the Black Sea. An Su-34 fighter-bomber can be called a "war machine", but there were none of those in this video. A Ural truck carrying ammunition or troops to the front line can be called a "war machine", but again, there were none in this video. Even a lathe working in a Russian armaments factory could be described as a "war machine".

    If your staff aren't capable of differentiating between tanks, armoured personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles etc., then just call them "armoured vehicles". Your viewers can use their eyes and their brains to understand what's going on. Stop talking nonsense.

    I do not expect quality journalism from The Sun, because of who you are and what you stand for, but you are plumbing new depths in your search for clicks and ad revenue. You, as journalists, are highly paid, and we are entitled to expect much better reporting than this drivel.

  31. Now they want to say he is a plant? Why to try and make it seem like no Ukrainian would defect? With all tbe videos we see of Ukrainian men being kidnapped by mobilization officers and throw into vans , forces to the front to die, of course many of these guys would surrender or defect! In cities across Ukraine, the streets are empty especially of men! They are afraid they will be snatched up by mobilization officers. There is a video that came out today of a Ukrainian man making a video of himself making it to Romania.

    He keeps feeding Ukraine's youth into a meat grinder of death, all the while Ukraine's people suffer and it's cities and infrastructure are in ruin.
