First date with my wife I was trying to be cool while playing pool, I leaned over to make a shot and smiled at her, but my gum falls out of my mouth. I felt like an idiot but she thought it was the cutest thing in the world, she said my reaction to it was part of the reason she fell for me. Another time during a trip to France she wanted to go to a real fancy restaurant, so to embarrass her I shaved my beard to just a mustache cause I know how dumb I look with it. She turned that around on me and nonstop laughed at me the entire night, not like giggled, but full on tears laughing, that wasn’t the joke I was going for there and quickly shaved when we got back to the hotel. Moral of the story some women just love big goofy men.

Bway show league plays in central park and the five fields have intersecting outfields so you can be sharing the outfield with players who are facing the other way. Im out in left field and there is a guy out there, playing a different game, who is giving me real bad vibes. We dont talk but the whole time im out there im thinking “i dont know who this guy is but he can really just fuck off”. The wife and i were watching oz at the time and it takes me til the 6th inning to realize lt the guy who plays the white supremacist Schillinger aka simmons. I just didnt recognize him out of context. Told him this story the following week and we had a good laugh.
It’s a great story about JK Simmons.
It’s a very confusing story if you’ve ever seen him as Schillinger from Oz.
He really seems like a generally good guy.
