    >(12) make any statement that would reasonably be expected to affect the outcome or impair the fairness of a matter pending* or impending* in any court; or

    >(13) in connection with cases, controversies, or issues that are likely to come before the court, make pledges, promises, or commitments that are inconsistent with the impartial* performance of the adjudicative duties of judicial office.

    >(B) A judge or judicial candidate shall take reasonable measures to ensure that other persons do not undertake, on behalf of the judge or judicial candidate, any activities prohibited under paragraph (A).

  13. Maybe that would have helped months ago, but their decision is written and done already. Now they’re just running out the clock to help Trump so no more trials can happen before November.

  14. What does it matter to them right now? Democrats can’t do anything to them. Hopefully next election cycle the Supreme Court will have some balance or at least not blatantly obvious wrong doings.

  15. Senator Dick Durbin, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, already declared that he was going to do absolutely nothing regarding Alito or Thomas.

    Joe Biden will also remain completely silent about the treasonous insurrection activities of Alito and Thomas.

  18. If SCOTUS worked as was intended, Roberts would be the only conservative justice who wouldn’t have to recuse due to impartiality in Trump cases. Alito and Thomas due to their individual Trump-lust shit at home and Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett due to the fact he appointed them. But that’s not the America we live in.
