Putin Pushes Russia’s Navy Towards Self-Reliance Amid Western Sanctions | Vantage with Palki Sharma
Russian President Vladimir Putin is working to expand Moscow’s military capabilities. Russia has been facing some difficulties amid its war against Ukraine. By March this year, Ukrainian naval drones had sunk five Russian vessels. While Russia continues to maintain an upper hand on the battlefield, it has decided to introduce some major reinforcements on the high seas. This year, the Russian Navy is set to receive 12 surface warships and 4 submarines. Officials in Moscow claim that Russia has achieved 100% import substitution. Western sanctions have cut Russia’s access to international markets. However, these sanctions have accelerated Moscow’s push towards self-reliance. Last year, President Putin had said that “we are consistently equipping the navy with the most modern equipment and weapons and, let me emphasise, we are increasing serial production.” Palki Sharma tells you more.

I don't think ships and tanks are the way to go anymore, drones are cheap and effective.
Zelensky needs more US money for another yacht and mansion.
Привет из России, YouTube отключил нам рекламу в качестве санкции
Putin lissten to comment right to defend yourself 😂❤
Russian navy is especially a problem for Russia itself
Very expensive easy targets
Was about time
The sanctions are a comedy show for the viewers.
Self reliance my a$$! Today Russia has 20% less ships in the Black Sea fleet than when it started it's war on Ukraine, yes the 3 day Special Moilitary Operation is into its 3rd year!
Russia is doing to Ukraine exactly what Nazis did to Russia in WW2 and then they wonder why Ukraine is defending itself
