it’s difficult isn’t it because having their position all along has been well we can’t interfere in an independent investigation they’re now in a situation where that investigation has got to conclude otherwise Diane Abbott will not be able to stand as a labor MP that could be really damaging to a lot of leftwing supporters of the labor party a lot of black voters could be really annoyed if she has prevented from standing I think it depends what reason is given and how it’s handle to be honest I mean I you know I’ve had people in my own region who’ve been kept off short lists to be the labor candidate so they haven’t gone to the constituency for a vote because of Fairly minor stuff in their social media history our due diligence in this election has been so strict that a lot of you know good potentially people have not got on short list so I don’t think you can make a different rule for Dian Abbott just because she’s Dian Abbott it will depend on the outcome of the inquiry and what the NEC decides based on the evidence it’s given

  10. If "lots" of black people are upset about a known racist not being able to be able to stand as MP maybe they shouldnt be allowed to vote? Since they clearly dont have the best interest of the State and Majority at heart.

  12. The casualness of saying ‘a lot of black voters’ without any comeback. Is he implying that their race sways who they vote for? But it’s true and no one can say anything negative about that. She constantly bangs on about racism but if she was a white woman she would have been sacked years ago. She has always been a vote winner for the tories because no matter how diabolical the conservatives are they look at the opposition and see idiots like her. Starmer has played the game getting rid and barring a miracle they will win by a landslide. And if we thought it was bad now…..

  13. Diane Abbott has faced the most racist vile abuse all her working life. The level of which most people would crack under. She is now being vilified by her own party for being associated with the far left of the party. Oh dear she may be a liability in Surry quick throw her under the bus. Her comments I didn’t agree with but I saw the root of pain they came from. Can the same be said of Starmer’s words that cutting off water and power to Gaza were admissible as weapons of defence? That I can see no justification for. Why not vilify him? I saw him as it was broadcast so don’t say he didn’t. Let the constituents decide if they want Abbott not Starmer who I wouldn’t trust to-ever do the just thing.
