Is Iniaki Pena good tar stegen replacment?
Vallaes, Unai Simon,Diogo Costa, Carnecesschi, Remiro are all better than Ter Stegen.
At least for him, it shows that he got the toughest shots. Still didn’t perform well.
Plot this for each of ter Stegen’s seasons here and you’ll be shocked to see how many mid performances he has had over the years.
This is a meaningless graph given that Goals Prevented itself contains xGOT as one of the parameters and is enough to gauge their shot-stopping performance. This graph is just an attempt at over-exaggeration. All this tells me, is MATS, in an injury-riddled season, was better than half the keepers in the league in terms of shot-stopping. And doesn’t even take into account all the other aspects of goalkeeping such as organization of the defence, passing out from the back, etc. If you’d just used this stat, Valdes would look like an average keeper as well.
It’s gone downhill for Oblak eh?
Wow, what a surprise, who would’ve thought that ter stegen is actually a bad goalkeeper? Stats must be misleading.
Thank God we have eyes and we watch the whole game, no data graph can make us believe that ter static is a world-class goalkeeper. Get that fake German out of my club ASAP.
