  1. When I felt we would hit next season with Tuchel or another ‘tactical’ manager, I thought the three main needs were: LB, LCB, and LCM.

Today, we certainly need those three roles filled (esp. with left-footed players) but there might be more even change in the squad due to the nature of hiring a ‘project-manager’ and all the noise around the imminent departures of many players.

Recall, as well, that there were rumours that Eberl had a mandate to reduce the wage burden of the squad. So for example, churning from Coman -> Gruda, and Gnabry -> Führich (random examples) might therefore make sense in a big picture sort of way. But… we’d need more high-end skill and talent for the Starting XI. My dream is Florian Wirtz. That boy’s got magic in his feet and we can’t leave him to Madrid to gobble up. **If not Wirtz, what other creative passing, technical attacker should Bayern try to acquire this year?**

  2. Pletti said we already have some transfers on the finish line that just need to be finalized now, any guesses?

    I have 3 in mind:

    – Ouedraogo (loan back to Schalke)

    – Führich RC

    – Tah RC

  3. I‘m curious as to where Kompany sees Kimmich. I still want to see him as an 8 with a more defensive midfielder to cover him.

  4. Now that the coaching search is out of the way…

    My dream transfer scenario:

    Out:

    Gnabry

    Coman

    Goretzka

    Upamecano

    Davies

    In:

    Gruda/Führich

    Ouedraogo

    Xavi Simons

    Theo

    LCB (no idea who tbh)

Onana (or someone more technical? Definitely need a midfielder though)

  5. Unpopular opinion, but you can already accept the reality that Gnabry and Goretzka will be part of our squad next season.

Both have 2 full years left on their contracts, are fans of our club, love Munich and just don’t want to leave. And there is nothing Eberl can do about it if they wanna ride out their contract.
