  2. Putin attacked Ukraine and it was important for him that the West did not interfere with him in this. In recent years, Putin has received a lot of support from the West, especially from Merkel,  Orban and Trump, and this despite Russian aggression in recent years in Moldova, Georgia, Crimea, Donbass, Aleppo and the  "Novichok" poisoning. And now Putin is very hopeful that the West will reduce assistance to Ukraine and he will get his way.

Im pretty sure, Those children were very well looked after by russian families or whoever, one of the kid was showing symbol of love, heart, with is fingers through that train window to a russian person who was standing outside on the platform. Anyways they went back to their families. Good work Qatar, may all kids have opportunity to reunite with their real families when it is safe to do so.
