Numerous rockets were fired towards central Israel, the first rocket barrage directed at the area in months.
A massive barrage of rockets has targeted Tel Aviv and central Israel for the first time in months. The rockets were fired from Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Loud booms were heard across Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Herzliya, and Ramat Hasharon.
Hamas has claimed responsibility for the barrage. The rockets were fired from within Rafah, KAN has reported.
The rockets were fired from launchers located hundreds of meters from IDF soldiers in the Gaza Strip, Army Radio noted.
Rescue forces are looking into reports of a rocket landing in the Tel Aviv area. MDA said that there have not been any reported injuries as of yet.

And I Wonder why they didn’t want the IDF to go into Rafah.
I still don’t understand how Gazans seem to be running out of every basic necessity except rockets and captagon
Ngl but I expected nothing less from Hamas.
But… but… entering Rafah is a war crime! /s
We got sucked under tables in the dining room at my school…
2~ min after the rocket barrage several helicopters went above (usually it’s like 1/day in my area).
It’s weird, as Hamas never got up to Kefar Saba. We thought it was Hezbollah attacking at first.
Well, this just incentivize Israel to go full blown Rafah assault and damn any agencies who object.
“Immediately halt Rafah offensive”
-Rockets fired from Rafah
Really?
Soooo we’re back to suspecting every sound that may remind of the sirens and expecting more sirens 24/7. Funnn.
And they were fired from rafah aswell hamas is literally mocking the icc and western leftist who say Israel shouldn’t go to rafah
Seriously, how is this not the headline of every news agency who oppose Rafah invasion?
can IDF cleanse Rafah now?
So nice of Hamas to remind us all why we need to operate (aka take them out) in Rafah. Thanks.
Well this just solidifies Israel resolve to go in to Rafah. So much for peace …..
So when people screaming free Palestine, they didn’t say who from. It’s Hamas that are holding Palestinians civilians hostage and using them as human shield.
Israel still holds a 30 to 1 ratio of Palestinians killed vs Israelis killed so I think they’re doing OK.
I mean for Hamas everything is going to plan, there have been billions of dollars pouring into their pockets, many countries just recognized a Palestinian state and Israel is becoming more and more unpopular every day. The more conflict and suffering in Gaza the more they profit.
That’s why they keep sending rockets over and over as they are losing on the ground. So Israel doesn’t even think about a ceasefire and keeps fighting them.
I hope they get them all eventually.
IDF getting all the Hamas TERRORISTS that is.
How do they have no food but an endless supply of rockets?
Free Israel from hamas!
The timing of this is far from coincidental, given the world and Israel’s allies are urging restraint on going into Rafah. Hamas launching a rocket attack from there at this point is practically daring Israel to enter it because it knows the risks of a worsening humanitarian situation being made far worse by an Israeli incursion, it is a win-win situation for Hamas diplomatically. Either Israel don’t enter Rafah, and Hamas hide out amongst a million refugees in safety while it can continue rocket attacks, or Israel enter and cause a crises and takes hits to its international relations.
Hamas contiuning to use Palestinian civilians as human shields.
For fuck sake!
HAMAS doesn’t give two shits about civilians. They want this war to continue and every Palestinian man, woman or child that gets killed in the process serves their goal.
And on the other side Israel doesn’t give a fuck about civilians in Gaza either and are more than happy to oblige.
In the middle of this shitshow you got roughly 2 million civilians with nowhere to run. And the tragedy continues.
Way to prove to the int’l community that the Rafah incursion is absolutely necessary. Get fucked ICJ
8 rockets isn’t a massive barrage.
Coming from Rafah. Which the UN and US are trying to protect. Turns out that areas under Israeli control don’t result in rockets. Maybe Israel should stay
“ceasefire” demonstrators in the UK want to protect Hamas, and then let Hamas attack Israel.
This is shocking. Will the ICC issue arrest warrants for the people responsible for this blatant attack on civilians? /s
Again, Hamas’s goal is to keep Israel in the fight and use civilians as human shields. Their goal was never to defeat Israel as that is not possible for them. Their goal is to drag Israel into a prolonged campaign, and get as many Palestinians killed by using them as human shields. All of this is to meet one overall objective: destroy the support that Israel receives from the Western world so that the Arabic world can eventually destroy Israel as they have tried 3 times before. This is being reinforced by Iran’s misinformation campaigns on social media.
It’s working.
Hamas making a mockery of the ICJ
IDF is at their gates and the Hamas just aimlessly fires rockets at faraway Israeli civilians? You’d think they would be concentrating a coherent defense against the invasion of Rafah rather than random rocket fire.
