Sunak says Rwanda flights will not take off before UK general election

as I said 15 European countries just the other week all signed a statement saying that they think that has to be a part of the solution because they’re realizing across Europe the penny is dropping this challenge is growing our security is being threatened that’s the only way to solve it so I’ve got a clear plan you’ve already seen hopefully some pictures in the papers and on telly we’ve started detaining people I can tell you the flights are booked for July airfields on standby the escorts are ready the case workers are churning through everything so all that is happening and if I’m reelected as your prime minister those flights will go to Lander we will get that deterrent up and running

Maybe if Britian hadnt caused so much instability across the world throughout history and hadnt told so much BS about what its like for immigrants in the UK so many people wouldnt risk their lives to get here….the nhs and care systems are run on modern slavery and the housing/health/education issues in this country are nothing to do with the people that risk their lives to get here… they're caused by the enforced poverty through government policies and through the mismanagement of public funding…the nhs is led in a way to manage organisational and government reputation risk not patient/clinical safety….until that changes people will keep dying unnecessarily…the nhs doesnt need more money, decision making shouldnt be left to project managers and non clinical people who only understand risk on a spreadsheet and not risk to lives. This government may have found a way to fudge the numbers when it comes to economic recovery but they seem less inclined to talk about the increase in child poverty, rates of domestic violence and child deaths…no way Id bring children up in this country…its like signing their health and life away before its even begun.
