I see this car parked every day for several months already, and I am not able to determine which kind of license plate is that.
I read the very complete Wikipedia article on German license plates, but no luck on this specific one.
I am tempted to say that this might not be German as it has got the EU symbol on the left, nor the German stickers.
It looks however that the car was bought here, as beresa is a big Mercedes car dealer here. Also the font used looks like the German license plates one.
For privacy I deleted one number and a letter from the license plate.
This is not something important, but I see the car every day for months, and it has been bugging me..

It’s not a German plate.
The font is a standard font: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FE-Schrift
I dont even think it’s anything European.
I’m 99% sure that the N that you crossed out stands for “Netherlands” and it’s a vehicle that’s registered for the NATO forces in Germany. [Here is a link,](https://nl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nederlands_kenteken) where you can go to “speciale kentekens” and then “BFG”.
Could be Malaysia
According to ChatGPT, it is a Norwegian license plate for an electric vehicle.
Prompt:
“which country has license plate with black background and white letters and “EV” as a prefix”
Answer:
“The country that uses license plates with a black background and white letters and the prefix “EV” is Norway. In Norway, these plates are specifically designated for electric vehicles (EVs). The “EV” prefix indicates that the vehicle is electric, distinguishing it from gasoline, diesel, or hybrid vehicles.”
However, Wikipedia doesn’t mention the white on black letters and mentions the Norwegian flag to be printed onto the plate. Maybe someone else knows more.
Could be a license plate of private vehicles belonging to military personnel from the Netherlands. The naming scheme fits this. 2 letters 3 numbers 1 letter. See there under BFG:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_registration_plates_of_the_Netherlands
It is the license plate of a private car of a member of the dutch armed forces who is stationed in germany.
