Due to lack of space I am looking for a way to store bicycles in a separate space in the garden?
I found the following (see pictures).

Any idea whether commune permission is needed for such sized box?
It refers to Junglinster.

I couldn’t find anything on commune’s website. They refer only to larger constructions such as garden shed or carport…

  1. How is this different from a Garden Shed, except for the use case? You are building a box (like a garden shed) on your propery (like a garden shed) for private use (you get it). In any case, call the commune to avoid that you buy something you may not be allowed to build, and then lose money

  2. The rules are size related and moveability. In most cases you will need permission from the commune, but as has already been mentioned call them or pop in to make sure.

    You can probably diy the plans, costs for approval can vary massively. Can be a token amount or thousands.

  3. since it is movable you won’t need approval. If you screw it into the ground it becomes a different thing as now it is a fixed structure
